recording with Scott

TWM (or part of TWM)had fun recording at Sound Logic studio last night.

We were recording some rhythm tracks for Scotty G.'s new song "Behind Every Face".  Stan Wallace was playing drums, learning a whole new pattern and learning to love the click track.  Greg Brassie was on his 6-string fretless Carvin - playing to rave reviews as usual.  Scott Greeson was on vocals and accoustic guitar.  Kevin was there on lead guitar, but had to leave early - we missed you later, Kev!  I was there on keys, and trying not to sing so my vocals wouldn't get picked up on the drum mics. We ended up working for quite a few hours and went home tired, but happy with the sound.  Jeff Anderson was sitting in the producers chair (bossing everyone around) and Scott Rottler was engineering.  Brian Russell was also visiting the studio and checking out the set-up.
Can't wait to record some more!

CD release party

We will be having a cd release party on March 4th at 7:00pm.  It will be at Evangelical Covenant Church in the Life Center Building.  ECC is located on the South side of Lafayette on the corner of 350 S. and S. 9th Street.  We chose this venue because we want to be able to invite families to join us and be okay with bringing their kids.  There's also place to serve snacks, plus lots of parking - I think the parking issue was important to us, we didn't want to play somewhere downtown and make our guests walk several blocks to get to the venue.  You see how important you are to us?
