Nice gig

We played at Lafayette Brewing Company's Pint Night Live! show on Wednesday night.  I had never been to the 2nd floor there before.  I had walked through the restaurant before, though.  Well, the upper floor is huge - I really liked it as a venue.  It's smoke free, that's a big deal for singers!  Also, I liked the pizza!
I'd like to play there again on a Friday or Saturday night!

CD REVIEW

I just wanted to post our first official cd review. Tim Brouk at the Journal & Courier did this little write up in the Diversions section of the paper. We hope to be featured in the TGIF section as soon as we announce our cd release party!

Here's the text of the review:

Trouble with Monday's debut CD, Fiction, is now available.

The 10-track disc of peppy, bluesy pop-rock was started a year ago at Lafayette's own Sonic Iguana Studios.

The time spent paid off with a strong release led by the voice, songwriting and keyboard work of Lee Anna Atwell, a long-time performer in the coffeehouse and church circuits. The strongest tracks are the first three: "The Way Love Starts," "Wild Thunder" and "Surfacing."

Further attention is given to this record thanks to Kevin Ludwig's splendid guitar work and Mark Molter's presence on saxophone. A saxophone is not for every band, but in Trouble with Monday's case, it's a boost. It gives an added texture and helps set it apart from others.

Fiction is for sale at Barnes & Noble Booksellers and McGuire Music, or log on to www.troublewithmonday.com to order a copy.

Here's to our first review! Yeah!
